A. Journalism Major _ Master’s Program
The Master’s Program
The Master’s Program will expand students’ theoretical and practical knowledge in journalism, teach various methodologies for academic research, and carry out basic research based on these. Through this program, students will enter the society or progress into the doctoral program as professionals with more well-rounded major knowledge and research skills.
B. Journalism Major _ Doctoral Program
The Doctoral Program
The Doctoral Program in Journalism was established to raise educators and professional researchers who can contribute to the academic development of press, mass media, and communication. Students will acquire further in-depth knowledge in their journalism major and learn analysis techniques and various methodologies on statistics for academic research.
Based on this, students will perform an independent research on their topic of interest and introduce the results on domestic and international academic journals as a required research activity. Through this course, students will join the communication area in universities, research institutes, and firms as educators and professional researchers.
